Derek Correia, age 40, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away unfairly and too soon on Friday, April 16, 2021. Derek was born October 29, 1980 in Colorado Springs to Diana and Ferdinand Correia. Derek was a huge football fan, with a special place in his heart for the Dallas Cowboys, but was also a devoted family man, is loved and will be truely missed. Derek is survived by his wife, Sebrina Edwards sons Santino, Marcellus and Dominic his daughters, Adrianna, Gabrielle and Blasina; brother, Gregory Correia, sisters Bria London, Cheyenne Correia-foster and Erica Dotson; grandmother Margarita Correia. Derek was preceded in passing by his parents, Ferdinand and Diana Correia. Derek is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and coworkers. A rosary service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Holy Apostle Catholic Church with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. and a committal service at Evergreen Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
