RICHARD CARLOS DYDELL

Richard Carlos Dydell was born on January 23, 1974, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and went home to be with the Lord on August 5, 2022. Between Coca-cola and Skyline, he worked in the community for 30 years. Richard was blessed with a large and loving family. He had countless friends that he considered family. He always made people laugh, he was hilarious! Carlos made sure everyone he loved was doing okay. Most of all he enjoyed family gatherings, he would attend anything he was invited to and always made the people he loved feel special and important. Richard had many hobbies such as building model cars, drawing pictures, and creating greeting cards. Carlos was a great artist and an avid collector. He was a pillar to our family and friends and will be dearly missed by his loved ones.

Richard is survived by his father, Roger Dydell; stepmother Danizetta Farr; brothers, Sam Velasquez Dydell, Antione Lewis Dydell, Phillip Baumgardner; son, Antione Victor Dydell; daughter,layla Felice Dydell; godparents, Mr. Russell & Mrs. Virginia Vanderwege, and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his mother Patricia “Patsy” Velasquez.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 10-11 AM at Evergreen Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 11 AM. A reception/potluck will be held at Hillside Community Center at 1:30 PM. Family and friends are welcome to bring a dish or drinks.
