Cincinnati: Defender Andrew Gutman scored the 20,000th goal in MLS history and it came in the 83rd minute to help Atlanta United earn a 2-2 draw with FC Cincinnati.
Thiago Almada gave Atlanta United (7-9-8) a 1-0 lead when he took a pass from Luiz Araújo and scored in the 17th minute.
Austin 4, Sporting KC 3
Austin, Texas: Sebastián Driussi scored his league-leading 17th goal of the season four minutes into second-half stoppage time and Austin FC survived an upset bid by Sporting Kansas City with a 4-3 victory.
Austin (14-5-6) trailed 3-1 at halftime after Sporting KC (6-15-5) got goals from Andreu Fontàs in the 12th minute.
Dallas 4, San Jose 1
Frisco, Texas: Jesús Ferreira scored twice in the first half and FC Dallas breezed to a 4-1 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes.
Ferreira took a pass from Alan Velasco just three minutes into the match and scored to give Dallas (10-7-9) the early lead.
Marco Farfan notched his first goal of the season, scoring in the 20th minute.
Philadelphia 4, Chicago 1
Chester, Pa.: Dániel Gazdag gave Philadelphia an early lead and the Union cruised.
Gazdag scored his 12th goal of the season to give Philadelphia a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute.
Defender Jack Elliott picked up his first goal, scoring unassisted in the 41st minute to give the Union a 2-0 halftime lead.
Inter Miami 3, NYCFC 2
Fort Lauderdale, Fla.: Alejandro Pozuelo scored his first two goals of the season, including the match-winner in the 84th minute, and Inter Miami rallied to beat New York City FC 3-2.
NYCFC (12-6-6) grabbed a 1-0 lead in the 34th minute on Talles Magno’s sixth goal of the season.
Revolution 1, DC United
Foxborough, Mass.: Carles Gil staked the New England Revolution to an early lead and Djordje Petrovic made it stand up in a 1-0 victory over D.C. United.
Gil scored in the 18th minute to give New England (8-7-9) the lead for good. Brandon Bye and Tommy Mcnamara had assists on Gil’s fifth score of the season.
Orlando City 1, New York 0
Harrison, N.J.: Facundo Torres scored early and goalkeeper Pedro Gallese made it stand up as Orlando City blanked the New York Red Bulls.
Torres staked Orlando City (1010-6) to a lead in the 17th minute with his fifth goal of the season.
Toronto FC 3, Timbers 1
Toronto: Italian newcomers Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Bernardeschi scored late goals and Toronto FC beat Portland 3-1 to end the Timbers’ unbeaten streak at 10 games.
Captain Michael Bradley set up Insigne’s tiebreaking goal in the 79th minute, scooping the ball into the penalty box toward Insigne.
After a save by Portland goalkeeper Aljaz Ivacic on substitute Ayo Akinola, Bernardeschi scored on a curling left-footer in the 85th.
