PHYLLIS BLOOMFIELD

Phyllis Ann Bloomfield (Lybarger), 89, of Monument, CO, passed away on November 26, 2022. Phyllis was born on October 7, 1933, in Astoria, IL, in a farmhouse with no electricity or running water. She married her childhood sweetheart, “Johnny” Jack Bloomfield on May 20, 1952. They raised their 2 sons in Peoria, IL and enjoyed life in Mequon, WI and Monument, CO. Phyllis and Jack traveled and explored 6 continents and spent the winters in Fountain Hills, AZ. She loved playing golf, tennis, and bridge and enjoyed hosting parties for family and friends. Phyllis always greeted you with a smile and her love for life was contagious - every get together was a party.those left to cherish her memory are her living husband, Jack, of 70 years, sons Mark (Debra) Bloomfield and Patrick (Nancy) Bloomfield; grandchildren Brad Bloomfield, Paige (Tim) Aranyos, Amy (Nathan) Young, Sean Bloomfield, and 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents Murray and Rose Lybarger, sisters Lila Burdett and Mary Butler. Phyllis will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 5 at 1:00pm at The Church at Woodmoor, 18125 Furrow Road, Monument, CO 80132.
