The gift of time

Time is the greatest gift we have to give and one of our greatest treasures to protect for ourselves.

Time can be an amazing gift. As the daylight lingers longer each day, we enjoy the simple fulfillment of fresh air, sunshine and a warm breeze. Enjoying little moments like a talk with a neighbor, a call from a friend after a hard week, or the warm sunshine on your skin during an afternoon walk.

As spring nears; it becomes a new beginning with birds chirping and things in bloom. A natural reminder to us to bloom as well, to renew ourselves, and take some extra time to enjoy life.

Just as you can adjust the focus on a camera to bring into clarity what is far away or what is close and directly in front of you. How easy it is to forget … the same view can easily change with a shift in focus.

Focus on how you can choose to be intentional with your time and what good you can do.

I ask you to just take one moment, or a few each day, perhaps, to be grateful for what is in and out of focus in your life. Be proud of your accomplishments. Give yourself credit.

Yes, you might have to redo things, relearn lessons, try again, and keep fighting for your goals and dreams. The time spent doing so is worth the investment. You are worth the investment.

You should never regret the time it takes to recharge yourself for your own needs and to make you better for others.

Time together … time alone … time spent just being.

The simplicity of being wrapped in a cozy quilt and watching a beautiful sunset. Time spent by a cozy fireplace appreciating the simplicity of the view. Time spent with a friend having an honest laugh together.

The time in between the busy is where peace exists.

Peace with where you are now. Peace for all you’ve gone through to get you to this place … this life.

Another day, and another reason to keep going. To keep fighting for a better life. Fighting for a beautiful life of joy, peace and ease.

Not filling up the space with noise, social media, the news, TV, shows and music — just simply sitting in stillness. Stillness as if to … WILL … time to stand still just for a few moments of gratitude.

Progress takes time. It takes time in the middle. In between the busy to settle your thoughts and to settle within yourself.

Take the time to enjoy this life you have created. Time to respect and value other peoples’ time, as well as YOURS, above all else.

Time is the most valuable and non-renewable resource.

It’s the little moments in life that have the greatest cumulative effect.

Time is a gift for others and a gift to yourself.

May you all be surrounded by the life that creates and allows you to be at peace … in your own time.
