Don’t reverse course

Mark Twain once said, “There are liars, damn liars and statistics.”

To use statistics alone to make an argument is deceitful. An example is our education system. When schools were exposed for their poor performance, i.e., low graduation rates and high drop out numbers or worse yet, students graduating without basic math skills or an ability to read at grade level, did the schools change their teaching methods, curriculum or subject matter? No! They lowered the standards! Instead of 70% being the lowest passing grade it became 60% and it has gotten worse. With that little twist graduation rates, not surprisingly, rose! There are thousands of ways to manipulate statistics.

Just because they can’t make change or write a coherent sentence doesn’t mean that graduating students were not taught anything. They know about sex, abortion, STDS, homosexuality, transgender, BLM, CRT and don’t forget they learn that America, the greatest country in the history of the world is racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic and also how to work the welfare system.

They qualify for hamburger flippers. Woodland Park once had a teacher who taught students how to protest … he voluntarily left when exposed.

In November we are going to have a choice:
