William Kenneth Brown died on Nov. 12, 2022, in Encinitas, California. He was 75.

Bill was an attorney with Spurgeon, Haney and Howbert and later Holland and Hart law firms in Colorado Springs before retiring in 2010 and moving to California.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Margie, his five brothers: Jim, Steve, Mark, Charlie, and Rob, his aunt Anne, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was born in Denver on January 31, 1947, and graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a B.A. and J.D. He was a member of ACTEC, American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. In Colorado, he enjoyed skiing, biking, and playing piano. In California, he enjoyed reading, gardening, and daily walks overlooking the ocean.

The family suggests a donation to a local food pantry organization if you wish.
