Lt Col (Ret) Jerrie Jeanine Hall, USAF Nurse Corp, 84, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, entered heaven’s gate on Aug 22, 2023, with her devoted friends at her bedside. Her military assignments were literally all over the world serving in a variety of clinical, aeromedical, recruitment and administrative positions. Jerrie was a compassionate person who radiated love, caring and joy for all whom she met and an unforgettable smile that made an indelible imprint of joy in the hearts of all she met. Jerrie’s wisdom: “Always on the sunny side of life;” and “I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder, I work, the more I live” (George Bernard Shaw) – and that she did. A special THANK YOU to the Intensive Care Nurses at UCHealth Memorial North who provided outstanding compassionate care. Memorial Services will be held on Oct 4th at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Dr, Colorado Springs. A special Nightingale Tribute will be given at 0945, service to begin at 1000.
