The start for the defense

For the third week in a row, Air Force gave up a first-drive touchdown. UNLV needed just two plays to find the end zone, as it scored on a 78-yard pass from Jayden Maiava to Ricky White. The defense then settled in, grabbing a pair of interceptions and keeping the Rebels in check until a score with 1:41 remaining in the half. UNLV then got off to a fast start in the second half, using another big play – an 84-yard pass to tight end Kalen Ballungay – to set up a score in the first minute of the third quarter.
