Baseball/softball

• Umpires wanted, experienced and new. Great part-time job for anyone that loves softball or baseball. Perfect for high school softball/baseball players. Baseball coach needed

• St. Mary’s High School in Colorado Springs is looking for a head baseball coach for the 2023-24 school year. Please contact Tommy Darneal by email at tdarneal@ smhscs.org for more information about the application process.

Golf

• Golf of Course. An independent men’s group that plays most Mondays, weather permitting. No money to join and open to all ages (most members are 60+) and all skill levels. Optional small-stakes skins game. For information, call 719-331-0025, ask for Steve.

• Valley Hi Senior Men’s Golf League. Every Thursday through the end of October. $60 to join, $10 each week and regular green fees. We have at least three flights. Winnings for gross and net in each flight. For information or to sign up, call 719-385-6911.

• Rocky Mountain Sports Officials (RMSO) is looking for basketball and flag football officials for the upcoming season. If interested, please contact Bob Lantzy at boblantzy@aol.com or 719-660-5290.

• The Colorado Springs Basketball Officials Association (CSBOA) is seeking individuals interested in becoming basketball officials. If interested, go to csboaonline.org. The local Area Directors will be in touch with the details on how to join the team.

Volleyball

• Skills camps for grades 3-4 will be held on Mondays (Sept. 25 and Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30). Camps for grades 5-6 are scheduled for Wednesdays (Sept. 20 and 27, Oct. 4, 11, 18 and 25, Nov. 1). The camps take place at Prairie Hills Elementary School, 8025 Telegraph Dr. in Colorado Springs. There are 20 spots available per age group. Registrations accepted until Sept. 6.
