The end of a school year can be a lot like a colorful Colorado sunset — that beautiful feeling of accomplishment; students graduating to the next chapter of life; staff and students breathing a sigh of relief at the thought of a well-deserved rest. Unfortunately, clouds of doubt have altered the educational landscape.

These are just a few of the many reasons students sometimes find it difficult to attend and graduate from a traditional brick-and-mortar high school; but, that doesn’t mean a high school degree is impossible.

GOAL High School, founded in 1997, has pioneered and perfected the art of utilizing online curriculum along with the opportunity for in-person instruction and support. 37 student drop-in centers, including a dozen in Colorado Springs and Denver. Clearly, the model works as GOAL is successfully graduating close to 1,000 students each year.

GOAL apart from other public schools. Students can come in daily from 8 to 5 Monday through Friday or they can work entirely from home if that is their preference.

GOAL is a Colorado Department of Education PERFORMANCE rated high school; a Microsoft Showcase School, allows for students to take part in sports and activities at their local high schools; pays for college coursework; and even offers rich musical and field trip opportunities.
